Blackwood Park is a boutique countryside living subdivision that created 11 exclusive lots ranging in size from around 2600m² to 5000m². The subdivision surrounds a unique spring-fed pond located in a natural depression that is the focal point of the development.
The subdivision is located at the eastern-most corner of the town of Waiuku. The work involved land re-contouring to form building sites, the construction of two common access lots, drilling a water bore and setting up a private water company. We also used the service of a Landscape Architect to provide a design for beautifying the development. This involved extensive planting, using an assortment of evergreen and deciduous trees, as well as the construction of a series of granite stone walls at the two entrances and part way along Waiuku Road to help anchor the development. TSC provided all the required expertise in Planning, Civil Engineering, Surveying and Project Management. We initially worked with the client to investigate the property’s development potential to assist with the decision to purchase it, and then every step along the way to having new titles issued.
