As we continue to provide our “one stop shop” services for clients, over the last 12 months, TSC has been very pleased to secure the expertise of Matt Simpson, Karen Thomas, Jacob Jarvis and Lewis Jones, who have added their collective talents to our multidisciplinary professional team.  

Matt is TSC’s Senior Land Surveyor and Survey Manager. Born and bred Aucklander Matt is an experienced cadastral and construction surveyor with a National Diploma in Surveying from Unitec and a Bachelor of Surveying from the University of Otago. Outside of work Matt is a keen darts player, enjoys watching cricket and baseball and spending time with his partner and two young children.

Karen is an asset to TSC’s planning team, with her Bachelor of Planning from Auckland University, and 13 years experience within local government (in both regulatory and policy development) and the private sector. Originally from the Bay of Islands, Karen now lives in Pukekohe with her three children. 

Civil engineer, Jacob graduated from the University of Waikato in 2021, completing his Bachelor of Civil Engineering and joined TSC Engineering Team soon after. During his time off, Jacob enjoys snowboarding and surfing as well as playing guitar and piano. 

TSC’s trainee surveyor, Lewis, has a background in Construction and is studying for his Diploma of Surveying at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology. In his free time, Lewis is a competitive Freediver, who has held a national record and represented New Zealand at international competitions.
