Kaipo Heights Drive is a rural-residential development consisting of 30 lifestyle sized sections, public roading and footpaths, native plantings, and a stormwater detention pond.
This subdivision is situated in the heart of the Onewhero Village, North Waikato. It involved the development of 30 rural residential lots over 2 stages. TSC provided all the expertise in Planning and Urban Design, Civil Engineering, Surveying and Project Management. TSC collaborated with the client from the pre-land acquisition phase, extending through to the issuance of Titles for all 30 lots upon completion.
A challenging aspect of this subdivision was the design of the stormwater detention system that was required to cater for the 1 in 100yr storm event. Our Civil Engineers cleverly devised the subdivision layout and shaped the terrain to ensure that during heavy rainfall, all stormwater would be channelled into a spacious dry pond before exiting the site at a controlled pre-development flow rate.
